While scrolling through my Instagram on Sunday morning an amazing looking waffle popped up on my feed. I just had to do some investigation into where I can find it. Luckily for me it was just around the corner in Table View. To go to Frozen Yo immediately became part of my Sunday plans.
From the moment I stepped into the restaurant I knew that I would walk out feeling extremely satisfied. The aroma of coffee and the sweet smell of waffles was exactly what I was looking forward to.
Overwhelmed by all the delicious options on their menu I knew that with my indecisive trait it would take me forever to decide what to get. Seeing the struggle, the waiter suggested to try their winter special. Two waffles with eggs, crispy bacon, cheese and a single shot cappuccino for only R40. What a bargain.
I truly enjoyed every bite of the breakfast waffle. The waffles were super soft and not chewy at all. We obviously couldn’t stick to only having a salty option and headed straight back to the menu board for something sweet. I ordered a cronut with vanilla frozen yogurt and a Flake sprinkled over it and Reinier ordered a salted caramel waffle with vanilla frozen yogurt.

After we’ve both ordered two meals, I’m sure it’s safe to say that I would 100% advise you to go and try Frozen Yo. It’s a fun and colourful restaurant and definitely left me feeling better about life. It’s situated close to the Blouberg promenade so you can go for a walk after you’ve indulged yourself in their delicious meals, or you can run beforehand to build up a serious appetite before you go. Either way you just have to go.
I’m warning you after seeing their social media pages you would definitely not be able to resist. Follow this linkto read more about my good food experiences.
