As we’re nearing the end of the year, people are slowly but surely getting into the holiday vibe. They’ve already started filling up Clifton beaches whenever the weather allows. BUT it’s been a long winter and not everyone’s keen on showing off the few extras they’ve put on.
With that being said, its time to pull up your socks and get the beach bod you want. In this post, I’ve put together a few of my favourite booty building exercises. They’re easy to follow and can be done in the comfort of your living room, whist catching up on your series.
PLANK KICK UPS
WEIGHTED GLUTE KICKBACKS
It is fun to see how you get stronger by being able to use heavier weights.
Add a weight to your pelvic area and hold it with one hand, to intensify the exercise.
SINGLE LEG BRIDGE
Add weights to your lunge to intensify the exercise. You can also do a reverse lunge. Standing in the normal starting lunge position and step backwards into a lunge.
I try to work them into my training as often as possible. They can however leave you with a sore bum-bum, but that’s totally worth it. You can decide on the amount of reps you feel comfortable with.
