My Scheckter’s Raw experience. A while back my best friend and I decided to walk from Mouille point to Camps bay and back. We were absolutely starving after the walk and in dire need of some good food. I remembered that Scheckter’s Raw is in Sea Point so we rushed to the restaurant like two hungry beasts.
Completely taken over by our hunger we quickly scanned through the menu to order. We decided the Best Vegan Burger is a must and as most of you know I am a flapjacks fan, so the Pumpkin Pie Flapjacks seemed like the next best option. We always share our meals, it’s a win-win for out tastebuds.
The Best Vegan Burger
The Best Vegan Burger are made with; patty (vegetable protein, lentils, brown rice, oats, flax seed), smashed avo, caramelised onions, lettuce, tomato, BBQ mayo sauce, served with sweet potato fries and vegan aioli.
The Pumpkin Pie Flapjack
The Pumpkin Pie Flapjacks are made with; pumpkin puree, organic cinnamon, almond milk, blend of flour (brown rice, chickpeas, stone ground flour and flax seed) strawberry, banana, organic apple cider vinegar, vanilla extract, topped with a choice of vegan cream or ice cream.
We loved every bite of our meals and I would recommend Scheckter’s Raw to any foodie. They strive to serve beautifully presented, nutritious food infused with passion, gratitude and a generous spirit. In my opinion they’re exactly doing that.
Scheckter’s Raw was an all-round pleasant experience; fabulous food with a great atmosphere and friendly staff. I would definitely go back to try their Raw Organic Superfood Smoothies and their Super Bowls.
